Kogitsune Heren

A young boy named Taichi Ogawara finds a fox cub on the side of the road and takes it home as a pet, naming it Helen after Helen Keller due to her similar disabilities. Taichi decides to care for Helen despite the skepticism and criticism they face from those around them. With the help of Ko, the local vet, Taichi attempts to bring Helen back to health while teaching her about the world, but their efforts are complicated by a tumor affecting Helen's brain.
