Osama

In Taliban-ruled Afghanistan, a preteen girl disguises herself as a boy to support her family, donning the traditional attire of a young boy and masking the secret identity that could seal her fate. With each passing day, the girl's existence becomes increasingly precarious as she navigates the restrictive world of the madrasa, where boys are taught to conform to rigid codes of conduct. As she struggles to maintain the illusion, she faces ridicule and hostility from her peers, but also finds fleeting moments of kindness in unexpected places. The film is a haunting portrayal of survival under extreme circumstances, where the mere act of surviving often becomes a matter of life and death.
