The film follows Marie (Jane Adams), an actress struggling with the prospect of aging, as her 25-year-old, aspiring actress niece Faye (Sophia Takal) arrives for a weekend stay in Marie's Malibu house. As their time together unfolds, Marie must confront her own mortality and the changing landscape of her career.
