A Monkey's Tale

In "A Monkey's Tale," a group of monkeys is separated by an earthquake, leading to centuries of division and suspicion between two tribes: the Woonkos, who live in tree canopies, and the Lankoos, who have developed a medieval culture with scientific knowledge rivaling their own. When Kom, a curious and rebellious young Wonkoo monkey, falls into the land below, he is rescued by the king of the Lankoos and embarks on a journey that changes his life forever. As Kom navigates this new world, he befriends Gina, a feisty Lankoo maid, and learns to navigate the complexities of court politics, all while trying to uncover a plot to kill the king and his daughter, Princess Ida. Ultimately, Kom's bravery and kindness help bring about reconciliation between the two tribes, as they learn to put aside their differences and forge a new path forward.
