Big Momma's House

In this action-comedy crime film, an FBI agent is sent to Georgia to protect a beautiful single mother and her son from an escaped convict, forcing him to impersonate a crass Southern granny known as Big Momma in order to remain incognito. The movie follows the agent's (Martin Lawrence) hilarious misadventures as he assumes the identity of Big Momma, navigating his way through her eccentric world and forming unexpected bonds with her estranged granddaughter and her son. As the agent delves deeper into the case, he must maintain his disguise while also unraveling a web of secrets and lies surrounding the missing money and the convict's true intentions. With its lighthearted humor and comedic tone, Big Momma's House is a fun and entertaining ride that sets the stage for two sequels.
