Brand: A Second Coming

Documentary filmmaker Ondi Timoner chronicles Russell Brand's transformation from a troubled youth in Essex to an activist encouraging social, spiritual and economic revolution in this 2015 English film. The documentary follows Brand's journey as he navigates iconic figures such as Gandhi, Malcolm X, Che Guevara, and Jesus, transforming himself into a political antagonist. Over the course of two and a half years, Timoner captures intimate interviews with Brand's inner circle, including friends and celebrities like David Lynch, Mike Tyson, and Katy Perry.
