Kumanthong

The film "Kumanthong" (2019) is a horror-thriller set in a poor countryside in the Southwest region of Vietnam in the 1990s. The story revolves around a scholar named Lưu Huỳnh (Quang Tuấn), who possesses mysterious powers and murders four young girls to obtain their heads for his dark ritual. The film follows Sỏi, a deaf girl played by Hoàng Yến Chibi, as she uncovers the truth about Huỳnh's crimes with the help of her love interest Múi (Đinh Y Nhung).
