The dead body of a tourist is found in the mountains of Tyrol. The murder investigation focuses on the residents of a seemingly quiet village. Monika Löffelhart, a German tourist, is discovered with an Alpenblumenkranz on her head and burning candles around her. The police, led by Claudia Wegscheider (Katharina Straßer) and Franz (Franziska Petri), must untangle the complex web of relationships between the villagers, including Florian Falkner (Gregor Bloéb), a charming organist with a questionable past, and Elmar Löffelhart (Clemens Schick), a counterfeiter who may have been driven by desperation.
