God's Crooked Lines

The film follows Alice Gould (Bárbara Lennie), a private investigator who pretends to be mentally ill to enter a psychiatric hospital and gather evidence for her case involving the death of a patient in unclear circumstances. In 1979, Alice enters the facility, where she interrogates Dr. Ruipérez, meets Dr. Castell, and starts investigating the mysterious death of Damián, the son of Dr. Raimundo García del Olmo. As Alice delves deeper into the case, she uncovers a complex web of relationships, deceit, and murder, leading her to question her own identity and sanity.
