Rent a Friend

Eri Tokunaga stars as Nasa Mochizuki, a web magazine editor who hires Atsushi Hashimoto's Sota Yanase to be her "friend" for a night, under the guise of testing a theory about non-sexual relationships. As they spend time together, Nasa becomes drawn to Yanase, who claims he can activate or deactivate his emotional responses. The two eventually form a connection, with Sota revealing his musical talents and collaborating with Tamaki Ono's character, leading to a blossoming romance that challenges the boundaries of their arrangement.
