A documentary filmmaker explores seemingly unrelated paranormal incidents connected by the legend of an ancient demon. The film stars Jin Muraki as Masafumi Kobayashi, a paranormal researcher investigating mysterious events for a documentary. It is presented as the finished documentary, using pseudo-documentary and found footage techniques. A year and a half earlier, Kobayashi investigated a woman named Junko Ishii, whose disappearance and subsequent strange occurrences are linked to an ancient demon named Kagutaba. As Kobayashi delves deeper into the mystery, he encounters a series of eerie events and supernatural phenomena, including psychic abilities, possession, and ritual sacrifices.
