I Was a Shoplifter

In 1950s California, undercover law officer Jeff Andrews (Scott Brady) infiltrates a shoplifting crime ring operating in major department stores. Faye Burton (Mona Freeman), a young woman caught up in the ring after signing a confession to avoid jail time, becomes embroiled in a blackmail plot involving Ina Perdue (Andrea King). As Jeff works to bust the gang, he also protects and helps Faye, leading to a romantic entanglement.
