Three actresses touring Sweden in a theatrical production of "Lysistrata" face challenges mirroring their own lives and marriages. Bibi Andersson plays Liz, Harriet Andersson Marianne, and Gunnel Lindblom Gunilla / Kalonike. As the women navigate the disconnect between onstage drama and offstage reality, they begin to realize that true change may not come through their performances, but rather through their personal connections with each other.
