Silent Night, Deadly Night 5: The Toy Maker

A toy maker's creations display some very human -- and deadly -- tendencies. Late one night in December, a young boy named Derek Quinn finds a Christmas present addressed to him on the porch. As Tom struggles, he slips and falls onto a fireplace poker, his impaled body being found by his wife Sarah a few moments later. Two weeks later, Sarah takes Derek, who has been mute since his father's death, to a toy store owned by Joe Petto, a World War II veteran, and his odd son Pino, not realizing Noah Adams, a recently discharged fellow soldier, has followed them. As the story unfolds, toys come to life, wreaking havoc on those around Derek, leading Sarah and her boyfriend Noah to confront the dark past of the toy store's owner.
