Beasts of No Nation

"Beasts of No Nation" is a 2015 American war drama film written, co-produced, shot, and directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga. The film follows Agu (Abraham Attah), a young boy who becomes a child soldier as his country experiences a horrific civil war. Agu's brutal initiation into the militia forces him to confront the harsh realities of war and the conflict within himself. After being adopted into the Native Defense Forces, Agu finds himself torn between fear, loyalty, and survival as he navigates the complexities of guerrilla warfare and the Commandant (Idris Elba) who leads his battalion.
