The Five Days

In 1848, amidst the chaotic final days of the Italian Revolution, a petty thief and a good-natured baker find themselves caught in the crossfire between patriots and Austrians in this action-comedy-drama that juxtaposes humor and tragedy against the backdrop of war-torn Milan. Adriano Celentano and Enzo Cerusico star as Meo Cainazzo and Romulus, respectively, whose unlikely friendship becomes a source of strength amidst the violence and upheaval.
