The Hand

In 1960s Hong Kong, shy tailor's assistant Xiao Zhang (Chang Chen) is seduced by imperious client Miss Hua (Gong Li), who wants him to remember her when designing her garments. As a rapport develops between the two, their intimate encounters become a key part of their relationship. Gong Li brings a commanding presence as Miss Hua, while Chang Chen's character is drawn into her world despite his initial shyness.
