Jack and Stephanie, a young couple, embark on a road trip after their child's death, only to find themselves in a horrific nightmare when their car breaks down in a remote area. They take shelter in a gothic Wayside Inn, where they soon realize that more danger lurks inside than outside. The group is terrorized by the Tin Man, a legendary local figure who attempts to get into the inn and demands one dead body from them by sunrise. As the night unfolds, the guests experience terrifying visions involving their worst memories, leading to confusion, paranoia, and ultimately, violent confrontations among themselves.
