Kimihiro Watanuki (Ryunosuke Kamiki), a teenage boy plagued by ayakashi spirits, stumbles upon a shop that grants wishes. He meets Yuko Ichihara (Ko Shibasaki), a mysterious witch of many names and esoteric renown, who offers to grant his wish but demands he become her part-time cook and housekeeper in exchange. Watanuki connects with his classmates, including Shizuka Dōmeki (Hokuto Matsumura) and Himawari Kunogi (Tina Tamashiro), as they are all entangled in a mysterious incident.
