Two plus-sized women, Jazmin (Mo'Nique) and Stacey (Kendra C. Johnson), navigate love and self-acceptance in a culture that often shuns curvy figures. Their lives take an unexpected turn when they meet Dr. Tunde (Jimmy Jean-Louis) and his friends at a Nigerian party. As Jazmin and Tunde begin dating, she grapples with insecurities about her weight, leading to a dramatic confrontation that changes the course of their relationship.
