The Price of Family

The Price of Family follows Carlo Delle Fave and his wife Anna as they fake an inheritance to bring their estranged children back home for Christmas. After twenty-five years, the family has drifted apart, and the parents are desperate to reconnect with their kids. With a little white lie about a large sum of money from aunt Tea, they manage to get their children Alessandra and Emilio back into the fold. However, as the season progresses, the parents' deception becomes increasingly unsustainable, forcing them to confront the true cost of their actions.
