Klondike

"Klondike" is a 2022 Ukrainian drama film that tells the story of Irka, played by Oksana Cherkashyna, and her family's struggle to survive on the border of Russia and Ukraine during the start of the war. When an international air crash catastrophe occurs in their village on July 17, 2014, they find themselves at the center of the disaster. Despite the chaos around them, Irka refuses to leave her house, adding a poignant layer to the film's portrayal of life under siege.
