In this bizarre and unsettling horror film, Dr. John Beck's life takes a dark turn after being bitten by a fruit bat in Carlsbad Cavern. As he undergoes an accelerated transformation into a human-bat creature, his grip on reality begins to slip, leading him on a killing spree that catches the attention of Sergeant Ward. With its awkward pacing and laughable special effects, "The Bat People" is a cringeworthy tale of love, transformation, and chaos - but mostly just a gross-out horror film about a man who turns into a bat monster.
