The Magic Blade

In imperial China, rival swordsmen Fu Hung-Hsueh (Ti Lung) and Yen Nan-Fei (Lo Lieh) compete for control of the deadly Peacock Dart while fending off expert killers in a perilous journey. Along the way, they also confront a power-hungry villain. Chor Yuen's adaptation of Gu Long's novel presents "brilliant sword-fighting choreography combined with a lyrical, dreamlike mood", showcasing a unique style that foreshadowed later wuxia films of the Hong Kong New Wave.
