So Late So Soon is a sensitively constructed documentary that portraits Chicago artists Jackie and Don Seiden in their later years as health issues jeopardize their life together. The film honors their art, while also locating glimmers of their essence within it. A playful character study that includes moments of interaction with director Daniel Hymanson and scenes drawn from archival footage.
