The Way

The Way follows Paige Hareb, Billy Stairmand and Ricardo Christie as they share what drove them to success in professional surfing, alongside their experiences with hard times. The film also features Maz Quinn's journey as the first ever Kiwi to make the world tour of surfing. Alongside this, Will Stowers plays Peter Way, New Zealand's first national surf champion from 1963, whose mark on surfboard shaping and competitive surfing continues to influence generations of surfers.
