A Good Woman

Fleeing 1930s New York and leaving behind a chequered past, Mrs Stella Erlynne travels to Italy's sun-dappled Amalfi coast, where her giltzy appearance causes a stir amongst the visiting aristocracy. Based on Oscar Wilde's play "Lady Windermere's Fan", this 2004 romantic comedy drama film follows Erlynne as she sets her sights on newlywed Robert Windermere, sparking gossip and intrigue that threatens to upend his marriage. As Erlynne weaves a complex web of secrets and deceptions, she must confront the consequences of her own past actions and the true nature of her relationships with those around her.
