Anthony Hopkins as Dr. John Clancy, Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Agent Joe Merriweather, a psychic doctor who works with FBI special agent Joseph Merriwether to investigate a series of murders committed by a serial killer. Clancy has the ability to see possibilities of futures from physical contact and becomes involved in the case after being touched by Agent Katherine Cowles, played by Abbie Cornish, which sparks his visions of violent events.
