In this 1955 British comedy film directed by Muriel Box and starring Peter Finch and Kay Kendall, a bickering theatrical couple agrees to star in a "Mr. and Mrs." TV show, satirizing the early days of BBC Television. The play-within-a-play focuses on an argumentative couple who fake their harmonious relationship for a daily soap opera filmed in their own home.
