In "Open City", Kim Myung-min stars as Jo Dae-yeong, a police officer who rescues Baek Jang-mi (Son Ye-jin), only to discover she's the boss of the pickpocket ring he's been tracking with ties to the Japanese Yakuza. The film is a 2008 South Korean neo-noir action thriller directed by Lee Sang-gi.
