Aunt Tula

Aunt Tula (1964) is a powerful drama about a widower, Ramiro (Carlos Estrada), who falls for his sister-in-law, Tula (Aurora Bautista). As she takes on a maternal role, Tula's intentions are revealed, leading to a tragic confrontation. Ultimately, Ramiro is forced to marry Tula's teenage cousin, Juanita (María Enriqueta Caballeira), and leave his children with her. The film ends with Tula watching them depart, resigned to her spinster status.
