Les Franken (Michael Rapaport) signs up for an experimental antidepressant and after several days, he experiences supernatural powers. Believing he is a superhero, Les convinces himself that his doctor, Dr. Dobson, is mentally telling him to continue taking the drug. Gaining self-confidence, Les quits his job to become a crime-fighting vigilante, stopping a gunman from robbing a store where Maggie (Alexandra Holden) works. However, after realizing he is losing his mind and seeking help, Les faces off with his alternate version of himself and eventually gains the respect of those around him, including Maggie, who has been hesitant to speak to him due to a stutter.
