Roald Dahl's Esio Trot

In this charming British comedy drama, retired bachelor Mr Hoppy (Dustin Hoffman) falls in love with his neighbour Mrs Silver (Judi Dench), a widow who keeps a tortoise as a companion after her husband's passing. Mr Hoppy hatches an audacious plan to win her affection, but things don't quite go as planned. With the help of his pet shop owner friend (Salo Gardner), Mr Hoppy tries to fool Mrs Silver into thinking that her tortoise is growing, leading to a series of humorous and heartwarming moments.
