On the gritty streets of 1950s Manhattan, newlyweds Suze and Arthur become entangled in a deadly obsession with a greaser gang that awakens a sleeping reckoning with their own sexual identity. As they navigate the treacherous underbelly of the Lower East Side, a violent encounter with a rival gang sets off a chain reaction of events that challenges their relationship, their identities, and their very sense of self.
