Sirens

In a time of political unrest and upheaval, five young women from Beirut form an all-woman thrash metal band that becomes a beacon of expression and resistance. Through their music and tender, sometimes bitter relationships, these women navigate the complexities of friendship, sexuality, and growing up amidst destruction. Lilas Mayassi and Shery Bechara, the band's founders and guitarists, are joined by Maya Khairallah, Alma Doumani, and Tatyana Boughaba as they forge a path of raw passion and commitment to their art, testing their grit against the turmoil around them.
