Inside the Walls of Folsom Prison

Inside the Walls of Folsom Prison is a 1951 American crime film noir set at Folsom State Prison in California, directed by Crane Wilbur and starring Steve Cochran as Chuck Daniels, a tough inmate who leads his group in an escape attempt that sets off a violent riot. The warden, Ben Rickey (Ted de Corsia), rules the prison with a ruthless hand, while the new captain of guards, Mark Benson (David Brian), brings about changes to the regimen in an effort to rehabilitate the inmates and reduce violence.
