Fraulein

Ruža (Mirjana Karanović), a Serb who has left her past behind in Belgrade over 25 years ago, lives a joyless existence in Zurich, owning a cafeteria where she maintains an orderly routine. Her life is disrupted by Ana (Marija Škaričić), a young Bosniak woman who flees Sarajevo and takes a job at the café, bringing her impulsive spirit and hidden secrets to Ruža's world. As their relationship evolves, both women begin to change in ways they never anticipated, touching on issues of displacement and integration in modern times.
