Harbinger Down

A group of grad students, led by biologist Stephen (Matt Winston), set out on a fishing trawler Harbinger to study the effects of global warming on whales in the Bering Sea. After discovering a crashed Soviet spacecraft encased in ice, they soon find themselves under attack from mutated tardigrades that have been infected with cosmic radiation. Lance Henriksen plays Graff, Stephen's grandfather and a gruff but seasoned fisherman who helps lead the group to survival against the deadly creatures.
