Victory Day

Every year, on May 9th, people gather in Treptower Park in Berlin to celebrate the Soviet Union's victory over Nazi Germany. The film is a direct reportage from Treptower Park, 72 years after the victory. All events unfold from dawn until dusk. People carry flags, banners, and posters, lay flowers at the monument to the Soviet soldier, sing, dance, drink, and wear Soviet military uniforms or traditional German outfits.
