Silent Parade

Physicist Manabu Yukawa (Masaharu Fukuyama) returns to Japan from America and is visited by Detective Kaoru Utsumi, who discusses a case involving the murder of a popular girl in a town where the same suspect had previously been arrested for another girl's murder. The released man was killed at an autumn festival parade, prompting Yukawa, Utsumi, and Detective Shunpei Kusanagi (Kazuki Kitamura) to work together on his case.
