Yomeddine

Beshay (Rady Gamal), a Coptic man with leprosy, leaves his leper colony and sets off on a journey across Egypt to search for what's left of his family. He meets Obama (Ahmed Abdelhafiz), a Nubian orphan boy, who joins him on the road. Together, they face setbacks and good fortune as they travel through Egypt, searching for answers about their pasts. Along the way, Beshay finds scraps of hope in this poignant and powerful film that marks director Abu Bakr Shawky's feature debut.
