Bonnie and the Thousand Men

The documentary "Bonnie and the Thousand Men" follows Bonnie, a 20-year-old mother of three who works at a brothel in rural Denmark, as she navigates her profession and its physical toll on her body, which is telling her it's time to stop working. Despite trying to protect herself with fake identities and other coping mechanisms, Bonnie is aware that her job exacerbates her health issues. The film chronicles Bonnie's struggle for life and death, a painful and intimate portrayal of the realities faced by sex workers in Denmark.
