When aspiring musical superstar Sam is forced to join her cousin's struggling praise team in the lead-up to a national championship competition, she sees an opportunity to finally make her dreams come true. As she joins the underdog Atlanta Praise Team, also known as The Oil Factory, Sam must navigate her new surroundings and confront her own rebellious tendencies with her talented but unpolished cousin Jess by her side. With the help of a popular rapper Ty and a spirited crew, they improvise their way to regional success, but when things don't go according to plan, Sam must face the consequences of her actions.
