Shenandoah

In 1864 Virginia, during the American Civil War, farmer Charlie Anderson keeps his family in isolationism as they run their farm without slaves. When the youngest son Jacob wants to join the Confederate Army, Charlie repeatedly tells his family that they won't become involved until it concerns them directly. The family's lives are forever changed when Boy, 16, is mistaken for a rebel soldier and taken prisoner by Union forces.
