Angelo (Fabrizio Nardi), a forty-year-old messy man, is unmasked while selling fake paintings to rich Japanese tourists and flees to Los Angeles on the first available flight. Arriving penniless, he comes up with a plan after discovering that his resemblance to Vittorio Di Spirito, a recently deceased Italian-American entrepreneur, could lead him to inheritance.
