Unsurfed Afghanistan

Filmed in three continents, "Unsurfed Afghanistan" (2020) follows Afridun, a three-time World Surfing Games participant, on his 10-day journey back to his home country of Afghanistan with a group of river surfers, including Afghan surfer Aryan Afzal, as they battle challenges and culture clash in search of surfable waves and a touch of joy for the war-torn nation.
