In 1980s Amsterdam, a young and idealistic detective named Jurre de Cock begins his career as a cop in the city's center, just as social change is transforming the city. Paired with Tonnie Montijn, a born-and-raised local, they stumble upon a criminal conspiracy that leads to a larger plot involving violence against the Dutch royal family during their coronation. As de Cock and his new partner Andy Ruiter delve deeper into the case, they must navigate treacherous streets, unreliable colleagues, and moral dilemmas to prevent disaster.
