Wake Up on Mars is a documentary film that follows the story of a Roma family living in Sweden, struggling with their daughters' mysterious illness, known as "Resignationssyndrom" or apathetic coma-like condition. The 11-year-old son Furkan dreams of escaping his reality by building a spaceship to Mars, amidst the family's efforts to cope with the situation.
