A tense thriller unfolds on Christmas Eve when a teenage boy's lifeless body is found, setting off a chain of events as his revenge-driven twin brother checks himself into a juvenile jail camp to hunt down the suspects. Directed by Kim Seong-soo, based on Joo Won-gyu's 2016 novel of the same name, the film tells the story of two brothers, one consumed by anger and the other with a sad smile, shedding light on social problems such as indifference and ignorance. With Park Jin-young delivering a powerful performance as the twin brother Il-woo, Christmas Carol is a thought-provoking, uncomfortable watch that explores the darker side of human nature.
