Dust of Empire

In 1954, a French nun, accompanied by a sergeant, travels through Tonkin, spreading Catholic propaganda to rural villages. A mute child leads them to a remote village where they install equipment for their message transmission. As night falls, maquisards surround the house, but fortunately, the carpenter's respectability calms the situation. Years later, a woman discovers a message of love among her husband's belongings and decides to embark on an emotional journey through Indochine.
